Apple Brandy Irish Coffee

Often used as a coffee lace in the south, Apple Brandy is as versatile in it's usage, as it is delicious! This recipe marries a few favorites of ours -- Smith River Spirits' Apple Black Red, Bailey's Irish Cream and Cold-brew Coffee -- for a light and refreshing cocktail.

  • 1/2 oz. Smith River Spirits Apple Black Red

  • 3/4 oz. Bailey's Original Irish Cream

  • Coffee, iced recommended

  • Whip cream to garnish, optional

Fill a rocks glass with ice; add SRS Apple Black Red, Bailey's and Coffee; Top with Whipped Cream

Jack Rose

Popular in the Roaring '20s, the Jack Rose has seen it's popularity rise with the craft cocktail movement taking place throughout the United States. Traditionally using Applejack, a form of Brandy widely regarded as America's first spirit, this recipe features Smith River Spirits' Apple Black Green for added flavor and uniqueness!

 

  • 4 oz. Smith River Spirits Apple Black Green

  • 1 1/2 oz. grenadine

  • 2 oz. lime juice, freshly squeezed

  • 2 edible blossoms or an apple slice to garnish (optional)

 

Add SRS Apple Black Green, Lime Juice and Grenadine to a shaker with ice; shake until well-chilled

Fine strain into a coup glass; garnish with edible blossom or apple slice

Brandy Alexander Shake

The perfect dessert drink to enjoy during the summertime, the Brandy Alexander Shake is equal parts delicious and versatile.
 

Incorporate limoncello, caramel, even chocolate -- in the form of créme de cacao such as Kahlúa -- for added flavor!

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream

  • 1 1/2 oz. Smith River Spirits Apple Brandy

  • 1 oz. liqueur
    (e.g. limoncello or kahlúa)

  • Garnish: personal preference 
    (e.g. caramel or choclate sauce)

In a blender, combine all of the ingredients

Blend together until the mixture is smooth

Pour the mixture into your favorite glass
